What started as a DIY project for my engagement party has grown into a beloved brand specializing in eternal flower gifts, shadow box keepsakes, and long-lasting bouquets. But the journey getting here is what makes Armée de Fleur truly special.
It All Started With One Paper Flower
In 2017, while planning my engagement party décor, I decided to create my first paper flower wall. I had never touched paper florals before. I didn’t even know they existed until a coworker introduced me to the idea. Inspired and excited, I walked into Michaels, picked up some paper flower templates, and got to work.
I had no experience.
No training.
Just passion — and a willingness to learn.
Within days, petals began to fill my workspace. Slowly, the wall came to life. And with it, a new love for handmade florals was born.
From Hobby to Heart Work
After that first project, I continued making paper flowers for events, décor, and gifts. Each flower taught me something new, and the joy of creating became addicting.
Then COVID hit — and like many people, I needed to find ways to support my family. That’s when I began crafting paper flower shadow boxes.
I wanted to create something meaningful, something people could gift during a time when we were all craving connection. Personalized shadow boxes with names, dates, and photos became the heart of my work. To my surprise, they quickly became my bestsellers.
People loved them because they held memories — and memories are priceless.
A New Chapter: Eternal Bouquets
Fast forward to January 2024.
One day, I made a random bouquet just for fun. I wasn’t planning to sell it. I simply wanted to create something beautiful.
Then came my first order.
That single sale opened a new doorway, and I began crafting eternal bouquets made from ribbon flowers and preserved materials. They paired beautifully with my shadow boxes, creating the perfect forever-gift sets for Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, weddings, and special celebrations.
From that moment, I knew Armée de Fleur wasn’t just about flowers — it was about lasting emotion.
